We had only been on the road for about a half an hour this morning before we saw a buck-naked gentleman taking a morning stroll on the side of the freeway. Apparently that guy misunderstood what it means to be up at “the butt-crack of dawn.” He gives new meaning to the phrase “rise and shine”. Anyhow, if that is what you get to see when you wake up early, I think I’ll opt for staying in bed a little later tomorrow.
It was a pleasant day of travel (minus the nudist, of course). The children all tried to be a little more kind, patient, and calm. It was refreshing. We got to our hotel in Boise around dinner time. We decided on Applebee’s, because the concierge told us they give 10% off if we show our room key. The food was good, but of course we forgot our 10% off, because that seems to be the way we roll. Oh well. We swam in the pool, and watched a movie. It was a good day (naked moments and all).

Hey, next time you come through Boise... we have lots of room with all our kids gone - would love to have you stay over (of course, we need to be there and not in SE Idaho). Loved reading about your vacation! Thanks for sharing the day to day activities.
